We had a fun morning camping in the classroom, thinking of interesting words to use for our writing.
Here are a couple of the children's sentences..
Clicking cicadas, singing and chirping happily, as I quietly fell asleep.
I heard shaking leaves rustling in the strong wind.
Splash, crash, went the gigantic waterfall right beside my tent.
The smashing waves slammed on to the warm sand.
We huddled together in the squishy mass.
I heard the chirping birds, singing in the willowy trees.
We listened to the quiet, relaxing stories.

Here is our Citizenship cup winner
responsible,
respectful, caring, creative, an active
learner,
reflective, encouraging, helpful and they always try hard.
Assembly
Room 16 really enjoyed running the Junior Assembly last Friday.
We had, had lots of fun creating our 'Super Heroes'.
In our little groups we spent time - designing, discussing, agreeing, reflecting, cutting, pasting, and yet more reflecting.
Our 'Super Heroes' had some amazing characteristics to allow them to 'protect the world'.
Here are a few photos - maybe parents could add some more
